-She decided to sleep in after having 2 late nights in a row this weekend--I kinda felt like it was my birthday when she slept in til almost 9 o'clock!
-We went to Shipleys to get her a special birthday breakfast of a pink sprinkled donut and chocolate milk, which she gobbled up.
-We went to an indoor kids play place with Julie and Cristina and their cute kiddos. Evalyn kinda struggled there. The play area was kind of like a maze and needless to say she was nooooot happy trying to find her way to the top of the slide and not being able to. And climbing up a kids play place to rescue her wasn't exactly the top of my fun scale either! But it was nice to do something different for her special day.
-Another first for her today was McDonalds. I know, thats crazy shes never been, right? What kid doesn't like McDonalds? This one. I will say that she ate 1 chicken nugget, which was a first. She stuck with her apple juice, apples, and of course ate all her ice cream. Oh well. I got to talk with my friends while she played in the play place for a good hour!
-We headed home after lunch so she could take a good nap, which she did for almost 3 hours. Then once Daniel got home we went and got pizza at BJ's, and came home for some Skor cake before I headed back to SL for a Bachelorette party. Evalyn opened a few presents, but her main ones are still in the mail. But she is loooooving her new princess backpack and bubble guppies toy from her friend Addy! Can't wait to see her reaction for her new bike in a week or so :)
I wouldn't trade being this girls mom for anything in the world. She's so smart, so sweet, so sassy and so beautiful. I've got the best gig in the books. Happy birthday E! You are sure loved.
