The Great State!

About two weeks ago, my sister, mom, and I all met up in the Houston airport. We planned this trip originally because my best friend Katie is getting married in July and I had wanted to throw her a bridal shower. Well, the shower for her didn't end up working out. She graduated that weekend we were there, and life was a little too crazy to do much of anything wedding wise (unfortunately). However, we did get to spend some time with her and other wonderful friends of ours, and it was SO fun! There is something about that place that I just love so much.

Of course I didn't take any pictures, but luckily others had a camera glued to their hand :) 2 of our best friends, Julie Weaver and Cristina Harris threw us a double baby shower that weekend at the worlds greatest restaurant, Pappasitos. It was so fun to get to celebrate with my sister! She is having a baby BOY on October 3rd, and of course our little girl will be here in July. Celebrating two babies of opposite genders was SO fun! I've gotta say..when Hales was opening the boy clothing presents it was a little strange. We don't make boys in the Pack family! We are so excited to add some blue to all of this pink we have going on.

Hales, Julie, Stina and I. LOVE these ladies!

I got to spend some time with my second family when I was in town, which I always love! Andrew was even home from Oklahoma State for a few weeks so the timing was PERFECT! I think it was a little strange for him to see me pregnant and have Katie be engaged! We love our "little" brother to pieces.
Andrew, Katie and myself. Gross picture, but I love these people.
Cheryl and I.

It was such a great trip. Sugarland has changed so much since we lived there, but the people are still the same. We had wonderful weather which was amazing for this time of year! The only downside was some terrrrrrrible allergies that I picked up while we were there. OH. MY. GOSH. I've never had allergies before but I definitely feel for those who get them on a regular basis! (Hence the swollen eyes and red nose in pretty much every single picture). But I've gotta say, Pappasitos, Bluebell, and seeing my best friends made it all worth it. Thanks so much to Julie and Stina for throwing such a fun baby shower! I love you both!

See ya again soon, Texas!
