Today is Saturday. And I'm at work. At a dental office. Retarded.
Some days I feel like complaining. Today is one of those days. A few things I'm "looking forward to" instead of "complaining about" are listed below:
1. I can't wait to quit work. My boss is way nice and super easy-going, but let's be honest, I'm not the working type. I don't like people telling me what to do, even if I am getting paid to do it. So let the countdown begin--9 more weeks of work. At the most. Take off one week of being in Texas and probably one week of me calling in cause I'm feeling extra pregnant that day..7 more weeks. Yay.
2. I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore. Awful? Maybe. I already love this little girl so much but I absolutely hate feeling like I do. Small sacrifice for what we will get in return for these next few months of discomfort..but I can still not like it, right?
*Sidenote--I'm super grateful to be pregnant at all. Don't get me wrong. Just venting here.
3. I can't wait to sleep at night. Wait...that's not gonna happen for a long time. Dangit.
4. I can't wait for Daniel to be done with Boards/Dental school in general. It's hard to have him "home" without really being mentally present since he's just locked away studying. Hopefully by September this will change for the better.
5. I can't wait to leave Los Angeles. If you and I talk on a regular basis, there is no need for an explanation for that sentence.
Okay, I'm done complaining. Daniel hears it alot, but he always responds with a positive outlook..which is great-sometimes. (Sometimes it just makes me crazy :) So the few people that follow this blog got to hear it today while I gave Daniel a break. Thanks for "listening" :)
We ALL have days like this! Sometimes it just feels good to complain. I feel ya. Tell little girl hello for me :) and I can't wait to see you when you come to Texas!!! Love you.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, reading this just reminded me SO much of how badly I wanted a normal night's sleep when I was prego. I don't know if you're normally a tummy sleep like me, but man, sleeping on my side for 8 months was the sacrifice of a lifetime! haha, well I'm excited for you to be done too cause I wanna meet baby Johnson! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry you're having a hard time...you looked super cute prego yesterday at church though! When you're done with work we'll have to hang out during the days.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya girl!! Hang in there. At least I can relate to most of those! lol!
